Jenny Lo-Ciganic, PhD, an assistant professor in the UA's College of Pharmacy and a member of the University of Arizona Arthritis Center, has been awarded a $100,000 grant to evaluate Medicare administrative claims data for more than 3 million beneficiaries and generate accurate prediction algorithms of inappropriate opioid use.
