Jessica Wong, MD

First Year

Dr. Wong is a first year rheumatology fellow in the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. She completed her bachelor's degree in neurobiology, physiology and behavior at the University of California - Davis, before going on to earn her medical doctorate at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Dr. Wong completed her internal medicine residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. 

While a resident at Virginia Mason, Dr. Wong was the recipient of the Norman B. Gaylis, MD, Clinical Research Award from the Rheumatology Research Foundation, earned honorable mention (oral presentation) at the Washington American College of Physicians Scientific Scholarship Day and was the winner of best poster in resident/fellow Washington American College of Physicians Poster Competition. She also served as served chair of the internal medicine residency wellness committee. 

Dr. Wong is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians.
